Who We Are
NoPC was incorporated in 2008 by Rob Wilson, founder of the charity READ International, and Andy Lindsell, founder of the technology firm Liquid IT. Two years on it has grown to a small but dedicated team of staff and volunteers who are passionate about the future of ICT in education.

Wilson, Founder and Non-Executive Director
Rob is a social entrepreneur with five years of experience working in Tanzania as the Director of READ International, a charity which currently distributes 300,000 text books annually to over 400 schools throughout Tanzania. Rob is the winner of the WhatIf Foundation’s Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2006 and was a finalist in the Edge U pstarts Award 2008 in the social entrepreneur category for the founding of NoPC.

Andy is an Internet entrepreneur responsible for designing and developing leading technology products in the UK. Andy has nine years of experience working in the ICT sector both as a freelancer and a co-director of his company, Liquid IT, a leading provider of hosted on-tap IT and a fast-track 100 award winner in 2006. He was shortlisted with Rob in 2008 for the Edge Upstarts Award for social entrepreneur of the year for founding NoPC.
